Codex revenue checklist

Before adding another feature, test the paid path.

Most agent-built projects do not need more screens before they need a buyer, a narrow promise, and a checkout that does not create doubt.

Buyer

Name the exact person who would pay this week. If the buyer is "everyone using AI," the offer is still too soft.

Outcome

Sell one painful result, not the whole platform. A 24-hour service promise is often clearer than a vague SaaS subscription.

Checkout

Use one price, one deliverable, one form field for the project URL, and a confirmation message that explains what happens next.

Page

Keep the above-the-fold copy about the buyer's job, the price, the delivery window, and the next action.

Traffic

Start with direct replies to fresh buyer conversations. Useful teardown angles beat cold "check this out" posts.

Proof

Treat the first paid signal as the gate. Views, likes, and shipped code do not close the loop by themselves.
